2017-2019 Highlights

As 2017 rolled around, I continued to work to release more translations, working on collaboration with interested parties who wanted to see these made available in their native languages. By February, episode 1 was released in Spanish. I continued to try to get the word out by submitting to film festivals. Positive responses came from the International Film Festival for Environment, Health & Culture (Indonesia) where it won “Award of Merit”, the New Hope Film Festival (New Hope, PA) in July of 2017 where family came to support me, and in the fall an “Award of Merit” was given by the Docs Without Borders Film Festival.

In January of 2018 I was glad to head to Chandler, Arizona for the Chandler International Film Festival where it won “Best Student Film”. The Phoenix area brings back many fond memories of having lived there from 1995-2003.

Episode 2 was released in 2019.
